Fuma Ninja Sword

Kouga Ninja-To:
The neighbouring Kouga and Iga clans of feudal Japan were bitter enemies for centuries and their warring ninja families have been immortalized in Japanese literature. To commemorate these secretive warriors Hanwei have introduced the Kouga and Iga ninja To. The Kouga features a Tsuka with a battle wrap over black rayskin and Kouga Mon Menuki. The blackened iron Tsuba features the Kouga Mon and pierced Kanji, a theme repeated on the Fuchi/Kashira. The Kanji and Mon are also employed on the blackened fittings of the spiked Saya. The Kouga features a forged high carbon blade, differentially quenched to an edge hardness of 60HRc. Essential tool for the Ninjutsu practitioner.

The blackened iron fittings include a Tsuba displaying the Iga Mon and a wave motif, both repeated on the Fuchi/Kashira. The Saya features a partial rattan wrap and a heavily reinforced spike. The Iga features a forged high carbon blade, differentially quenched to an edge hardness of 60HRc. Essential tool for the Ninjutsu practitioner.

Hanwei Practical Ninja-To (same as below ninja sword but with white ray skin)

The Practical ninja-to, whose construction patterns closely that of the Practical Katana, is a wonderful addition for those studying the Way of the Ninja. The blade is hand-forged from a high-carbon steel billet and is differentially hardened using a traditional claying method. All the fittings (koshirae) are finished in antiqued black iron. The ornate tsuba displays the kuji-kiri (energy-channeling hand positions) employed by the mystical ninja. The tsuka is wrapped in a synthetic ray skin (same), available in black (SH2268) or white (SH1071), and the tsuka-ito is in durable synthetic black leather. The saya has flat black finish with demon-head bindings for the black Japanese cotton sageo and an intricate kojiri. A sword no practitioner of Ninjutsu should be without.

Ninja Tabi Boots: ADULT
High top velcro ninja tabi boot with outdoor rubber sole, you may need to purchase a pair of tabi socks. The all black traditional ninja outdoor tabi boot. This sword is ideal for tamashigiri.
At last, for the UK a full tang double pinned Togakure Ryu katana, traditionally hand forged from 9260 high carbon tempered steel and sharp. The wood handle is complemented with two mekugi (wood pegs) and a full tang, real ray sking (same gawa) and tight wrapped handle. The wood saya is deeply lacquered in black. Although this sword is hand forged using some of the traditional methods needed it does have a cosmetic hamon and therefore we feel that is a restricted item in the UK.

Within the Bujinkan, this years sword theme is Tachi, UK law restricts the sale of a reasonable priced training sword, so we have these budget/display Tachi katana. These are not iaito although the construction and feel is very reasonable. The law states this sword has a defence for sale to person(s) that meet the requirements and ONLY ninjutsu students and teachers can purchase. All orders must be accompanied with a scan of your ninjutsu club membership & insurance, its the law. the membership and insurance must in date & valid. We advise that your dojo instructor inspect the dullness of these blades as some may need further dulling.
